Institutions interested in accreditation by the ILJSAN must submit a formal Expression of Interest (EOI). This includes basic institutional data, legal program details, and confirmation of eligibility based on the ILJSAN scope of recognition.
Upon review of the EOI, institutions will be notified of their eligibility to proceed with the self-evaluation phase.
Eligible institutions are required to submit a detailed Self-Evaluation Report addressing the ILJSAN Standards of Accreditation. The SER must include evidence of compliance in areas such as curriculum, governance, faculty qualifications, legal ethics, student outcomes, and infrastructure.
A peer review team appointed by ILJSAN will conduct an on-site (or virtual) visit to validate the information presented in the SER. The visit includes interviews with institutional leadership, faculty, students, and a review of physical and digital resources.
A preliminary assessment report will be compiled following the visit.
The final decision is made by the ILJSAN Accreditation Commission based on the peer review team’s findings, the institution’s compliance with ILJSAN standards, and any required corrective measures.
Accredited institutions are subject to periodic review and annual reporting. Renewal of accreditation requires a full re-evaluation upon the expiration of the accreditation term or in case of significant institutional changes.
